Teacher, Kansas City
"I love this book! The illustrations are beautiful and the silhouettes are stunning. LeAnne writes in a rhythmic and repetitive style which not only engages young readers, but also reinforces the concept of letter/sound/object relationships throughout. I especially appreciate the short and long vowel examples toward the end of the book and the extra teaching suggestions at the end. As a Pre-Kindergarten teacher I would definitely use this book in my classroom. I think it is a great teaching tool that would appeal to young readers of varying abilities. This is a thoughtfully written, beautifully illustrated book that would be a wonderful addition to any young reader's library."
